They serve different purposes. Copilot is great for inline suggestions while you type. ChatGPT is much better for explaining code, refactoring, and bigger tasks.

Most developers use both — Copilot in VS Code and ChatGPT in the browser or Canvas.

ChatGPT also has a dedicated coding workspace called Canvas now.
