What is Optical Fiber In Hindi?

Optical Fiber एक Glass या plastic की पतली fiber होती है जो light के जरिये information को एक place से दुसरे place भेजने में मदद करती है। ये long distance communication के लिए use की जाती है और इनका उपयोग ज्यादातर Telecom industry में किया जाता है।

Optical Fiber का structure

Optical Fiber 3 चीजों से बनी होती है।

• Core – ये optical fiber का center होता है जहा से data transmit होती है।
• Cladding – ये core के बाहर होता है जो light particle को core के तरफ reflect करता है।
• Buffer coating – ये core और cladding के उपर लगाया जाता है जिससे की वो damage होने से बचे।

Optical Fiber की खासियत

Optical Fiber high bandwidth provide करता है यानि हम एक समय में ज्यादा data transmit कर सकते है।

Optical Fiber कैसे काम करती है 

Optical Fiber data को light particle (Photon) के form में transmit करती है। Optical Fiber total internal reflection के principle में काम करता है। यानि जब incident light boundary को strike करता है  तो वह पूरा reflect हो जाता है ऐसा तब होता है जब angle of incidence critical angle से ज्यादा होता है और light denser medium से less denser medium की और travel कर रहा होता है।
